DIY Lip Scrub

One of my biggest problems with fall and winter it is the fact that my lips so dry. Last year I was desperate, until I discovered some products that helped and gave me back my joy in life.

The lip scrub does not give to your lips a moist, but it will save you at the moments that you want to put a lipstick when your lips are dry and it will remove all the peeling. Until now I used one of the LASH lip scrub, but then I realized that it was a waste of money because Ican make an excellent one at home.

So what you'll need?

- organic sugar (regular sugar is also fine) 3 tsp
- brown sugar 1/2 tsp
- honey 1/2 tsp
- olive oil 2 tsp
- a small pot

At first I mix the organic sugar and brown sugar together:

Then I add the olive oil  with the honey and mix with the suger:

And finally- to put all the scrub in a small pot:

So this is it for today ... Hope you find this post useful.

My Favorites Youtubers

So today I decided to do something a little different .. In this post I will present you the girls that becauso of theirfault it all started. At the last two years I was exposed to so many beauty blogs and YouTube channels, so it is really hard for me to choose a few favorites. I decided to put in this list the eauty gurus that I will not miss any of their videos, and everytime when they uploaded a new one I run to the computer.
 So Lets get started...

That girl ... I have no words. she's so nice and hilarious  and it make it really fun to watch her videos. She is a Canadian who lives in England and therefore she talks about products that you can get in North America and products that you can gat in Europe as well. Just go in to watch her and you'll understand ..

There is something very megical in Zoe's personality. She is really charming, and even though she has so many fans and subscribers she is still talking at eye level. Also fun to watch her vlog videos because they always remind me that I needed to enjoy in my life.

Jaclyn is a pretty new youtuber, but because of her excellent makeup tutorials she is already quite popular. I personally does not like her "Lifestyle" videos so much, but when it comes to makeup - she just a champion! her teachings are clear and varied and I could learn a lot from her.

Sharon is a professional makeup artist , and her videos, as Jaclyn - are mostly makeup tutorials. She is super professional, and her tips are amazing. Besides, having a cute Irish accent always adds something.

Last but not least comes Gabriela. I discovered her just recently, and her channel is quite new. She is the least popular of all the girls on this list, but in my opinion she will e something big. She's cute, gentle and she has a soothing and pleasant voice. She is not a professional but her makeup tutorials are excellence, and  it also just nice to hear her talk.

Of course there are many girls that I love watching them but I decided to choose only five, and I'm very pleased with my choices.
So who are yous favorites youtubers? leave a comment ..

The Lip Butters

About the Revlon lip butters there is a lot of hype in the beauty world, and there is a reason for that. The formula is soft and nice, the range of colors is good and something about that they are semi-transparent makes them wearable and fit almost any look.
Since I bought my first lip butter last year, I managed to accumulate another 4 that I want to introduce you.

Before we get to details,I want to say that in general these lipsticks are not so durable because they are so moisturising. There are some small changes in the formula in each one, and I'll take that as'll talk about each one separately. Their price is £ 5.99 and you can get them at any drugstore.

raspberry pie, red velvet, wild watermelon, pink truffle, juicy papaya

Juicy papaya
Is the sheerest one that I have. It has a peach color and gives your lips really just a touch of color. It not stays on the lips a long time, but it is really moisturising. Good for everyday use.

Pink truffle
This one  is "my lips but better" kind of color. Is a little more durable than the previous one and suitable for any look. I like to use it when I do a smoky eye and I want to have some nude color on my lips without washed out totaly.

Wild watermelon
This one is perfect for the summer. It has a fun red - pink color that matches this season. Is quite pigmented and last on the lips for about 3 hours (without eating and drinking).

Red velvet
If the previous was perfect for the summer, this one is perfect for the winter. It has a gorgeous burgundy color that suits many skin tones. Iא showed the most impressive resilience of all of them - five hours without eating and drinking, but it is a littel bit drying.

Raspberry pie
It is most pigments color of all. it has a purplish color with bleu untertone what makes your teeth look really white. Is similar to the red vevet formula.

So.. what do you think about the lip butters? len me know in the comments down below.

Lioele Water Drop BB Cream

When I bought this bb cream I did not think that it will be a love story. For those that do not know, I suffer from oily skin, so I assumed that this product (that is designed primarily for dry skin) will not suit me.
After a few uses, I found out I was wrong. like I thought- in the summer is really not fit me, but at the fall and winter is perfect for me.
The coverage is low - medium and it has a beautiful natural finish. like i just said, I have oily skin, so I have to powder, but even then my skin has a littel bit of sheen that gives the me healthy look, and that's why I so love this product.

Do not be scared from the taupe shad that it has - it is oxidized and adapts to skin tone, despite the darkness Skins I believe it will fit for most of the skin tones. I like to applay it with my fingers - that in my opinion gives the most natural result.
What is also nice in with this bb cream  that it is full of moisture, and at the days when I'm rushing it can replace my moisturiser. It is stays on my face something like 5-6 hours, and has spf 27.
So ... Where can you get it?
Unfortunately, you can buy it only in East Asia or online. i bought mine from ebay for 12$, and I think that it is a really good price.

Hair Care Routine

I can say that overall I have a pretty comfortable hair. Is not flat - but not to curly, fit easily on most days, not too oily but not really dry and I would also like the color (reddish in case you asked). My only problem with my hair is that it is very thin and wispy, but I can live with it.
Slowly over the past year I have found the products that fit my hair, they are replaced from time to time, but to that I could come to some routine I'm really I'm excited to show you my hair care routine.

Let's start with the basics in terms of hair products - shampoo and conditioner . Currently I'm useing Surf Foam Wash Shampoo and Surf Creme Rinse Conditioner by Bumble and bumble. Shampoo and Conditioner are products that I fint it hard to stick to them, yet I did'nt fall in love with dou that I'm going to buy again and again. these Shampoo and conditioner are nice and supposed to give a nice waves like you just came back from the beach. When I use them I really get this look , but I found that it does not give me enough moisture for my hair. Therefore, in order that it does not dry it completely I washed only twice - three times a week rather than three - four as I usually do. No doubt they smell amazing (refreshingocean smell).but - and this is a big but - this pair cost me no less than £ 35.00, when each of which contains only 250 ml, and that the principal reason that it is not I will purchase again.

If there is a product that I think is worth the money it is defentley the Macadamia natural oil Deep repair masque. This hair mask is the best that I have been trying so far. I use it once a week after shampooing and it makes my hair feel so nice and smooth after it dries. I feel it really gives it moisture and the smell of it stays until the next shampooing. Totally worth the £ 36.75 it costs (500ml).

I brush my hair just after I'm getting out from the shower, because if I will do it when my hair is dry then my hair will swell and lose its shape. That's why I use Tangle teezer. This is a brush that is good to use when your hair is wet - it is very gentle and yet it does the job. I have noticed since I'm using this brush my hair falling out significantly less. I have this brush for 6 monthes and it does not even begin to show signs of aging. The price - £ 10.20.

TRESemm'e Heat defence Styling spray
I use this spray before I'm strighting or curling my hair. Is supposed to protect your hair against heat and I can only hope that it does do it. It does'nt heavy and not makes my hair feel sticky like others I've tried, so I'm just pretty happy with that. The price is also not bad at all - £ 5.25.

Loreal elvive Extraordinary oil
I'm useing this oil when my hair is almost dry and it helps me get rid of frize and gives my hair some weight. On the packaging it says that it should also protect against heat but I do not use it for this purpose. £ 6.66.

Batiste Dry shampoo
I do not know what I would do without this product. Because the root of my hair tends to be oily already two days after I wash it I have to use this stuff, unless I just want tofry an egg on my scalpt, especially now when I wash my hair only twice a week. It also gives me a refreshing feeling which makes your hair feel clean. It is very cheap (£ 2.99) and smells amazing.

Success Hair spray
I usually avoid using hair spray because I do not like the crispy feeling of these products on my hair. The only time that I use this product, is only when I havethat the shape of it will stay for a long time. In such situations I use a spray of an Israely brand, and it does the job well.

The next product I did not know if to put in the post or not, but I decided that it will because this product is like a magic for me. The Maxi hair vitamins are supposed to help the growth of hair. I use them for two months and I see a really significant improvement. Reduced dropout and hair feeling fuller and healthier. It contains Omega-3, zinc and all sorts of names of things I do not really know aboyt them, but I do see the results- they are good. The price is $ 17.39 on iherb, and the box contains 50 capsules.

So this is it for my hair care routine. What are the proudact that you are useing? I'd be happy if you leave a comment...

The Perfect Eyeshadows For Fall

there is a buzz in the beauty world about makeup geek eyeshadows quite a while. Those who do not know -  makeup geek is a blog\YouTube channel of  Marlena- an makeup artist who has a line of makeup products. The eyeshadows  that she produces should be a dupe for Mac eyeshadows, and the prices should be affordable.
I ordered from the site a few products, but there is two eyeshadows that I obsessed with them this season- prom night and country girl. so I'm going to do a review post about it.

The shipment came to me very quickly (about a week) and beautifully packaged and carefully. All of makeup geek eyeshadows weight is 1.8g (considering Mac- 1.5g) and the pan comes with a magnet that makes it suitable for magntetic pallets (including mac). the price is 6$ for each, compared to the Mac eyeshadows that cost 15$, what comes out is definitely worthwhile.

Prom night
This eyeshadow has taupe-gray color with a touch of purple  and a shimmery finish. It should be dupe to Mac's satin taupe. I do not have the Mac one, but I'm very pleased with this eye shadow on the mouth itself. It looks lovely when you put it all over the lid for really soft smokey eyes, and it emphasizes the eyes also. I think it would fit a lot of skin tones (maybe a very dark) and eye colors. it is also really pigmented, blends nicely and easy to work with. I tried to use this in the creas  and it also gave a nice result, but it has a bit too much shimmer to it so it could look a bit messy. It stayed on my eyelids for 6-7 hours with Mac's pintpot undernneath, and I was very pleased.

country girl
This color is really perfect for fall. It reminds me the colors of the leaves thanks to the purplish- brown-burgundy colors that it has. It is also very pigmented and easy to blend, and it has a little less shimmer than prom night which makes it perfect for the crease. This eyeshadow warms up the look and I especially love to combian it with prom night all on the lid. The resistance it is the same as prom night and in my opinion it is a must for blue eyes.

have you tried makeup geek products? What do you think about this duo?

JYM Essentials

I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, and it's really big part of my routine. I feel it up my mood and makes me feel lighter and healthier. If you want I can also do a post about my exercise routine, but this time I would like to show you my jym essentials.

Clothing- I prefer Always shorts and most importantly light and comfortable, and mos important- not synthetic. You will not find me doing sport with all kinds of advanced and sophisticated  sportswear. I prefer cotton clothing from different shops, and more colorful the better. (tank top- Forever 21, Top - Hoodies, shorts - Primark). Currently I use Puma's shoes, but they are not the most comfortable to me, so if you have any recommendations for other shoes I would love to hear.

If I did not have the two following accessories, the chance I'd still persist in the gym is extremely low. The first item - headphones, and the other is strap that rolled around my arm and hold my Galaxy. These two accessories are the ones that allow me to listen to music when I train.

After I take a shower, come the turn of the beauty products. Deodorant I think it's obvious why the need, and I use one of the Dove cucumber and green tea scent, which is nice and not heavy. Perfume I use is Hello darling by Victoria Secret in Pear scent and it is so convenient for me to take this one because it has small and compact bottle.
After the shower (especially if I also decided to enter the pool) my face feels a bit dry (though generally my skin is quite oily) so I use the Murad moisturizer which is part of the assessment of acne. Is not that amazing but does the job, and because of its small handset so it is also convenient for me to take it.
Next comes the water drop BB cream by Lioele. Is very breezy yet hides my redness' and maybe I will do a full review post about it.

When I go to the gym I usually go to other pursuits afterwards, so I do like a bit of makeup before I continued the day. As I mentioned before, BB cream is an excellent solution for fast and light makeup and I do not put a lot of prudacts on it. I use the clear complexion powder by Rimmel, to get rid of shin, put some mascara (Benefit's real they're) and actually goes on a bright color which looks nice without spending too much time (all fired up by Mac).

And after each training Of course I hungry, so until I get to where I can eat a full meal I eat   energy bar and it really helps!

So what is your most important things to take to the gym? Do you want to hear a full review of spesific product? write me a comment ...

NOTD: flourishing

Nail Art is not something that I get to experience a lot, but after seeing this charming Nail Art of Meg from lips so facto I could not try it myself. Although I have used some other colors and I did a little smaller flowers.but, I definitely proud of the result.
I apologize that I have only a picture of the end result and not of all the steps along the way, I just decided to take this post only after that the Nail Art allready done.

What I used (left to right)-
Sally Hansen Insta dry top coat
Barry M nail paint- peach melba
Barry M gelly nail paint- pomegranate
Revlon- knockout
Essie all in one base
Essie- blanc (which is not in the picture but any white nail polish will be good)
a tool for nail art (this specific one is by an israely brand calls 'Beautycare', and you can use a bobby pin like Meg did).

first of all I applied base coat and two coats of white nail polish and waited a few minutes. Then I painted the red flowers polish with the nail art tool, there really should not be accurate and that is what is fun. I drew a circle in the middle of flowers in pink - orange and black dot above it. This is all about patience, you have to wait a long time between each color to get fully dry, otherwise it will be a mess. At the end I closed everything with a top coat of Sally Hansen which it gives shiny and glosy finish (for those who like).

So what do you say about the nail art? do you like it? worth the investment?
